How to manage services in error

82 views 0

Types of errors and how to handle them

What does our team do when an error occurs?

Our support team actively monitors all bookings that return an error.
We work to manually confirm any services that can be recovered, and we update the booking status in the system as soon as possible.

For this reason, it is very important to wait for Travelsoft to update the status of the booking before attempting to rebook the same service. This helps prevent duplicate bookings and other potential issues.

How to manage consolidated services that return an error

Sometimes, services consolidated by Travelsoft may return an error during the booking process. It’s important to understand the different types of errors that can occur and how they are managed within our system.

Common error types:
1. BOOK_ERROR

This error means that an issue occurred while trying to confirm the service with the provider. It’s usually caused by a technical problem or a temporary interruption in the communication between systems.

2. PRICE_ERROR

The system has detected a mismatch between the initially displayed price and the actual price provided by the supplier at the time of booking. In this case, the booking is not confirmed until the correct price is verified.

3. NOT_BOOKED

This status means the booking request was not fully processed or did not reach the provider’s system. It may happen due to a connectivity issue or a delay in response time.

4. ON_REQUEST

This indicates that the requested service is not available for instant confirmation and must be manually verified by the provider. This is common for certain accommodations or special services.
