How do I know it is a consolidated service?
When reviewing a booking in the system, it’s important to determine whether a service has been consolidated by Travelsoft Services, as this affects how it is handled internally.
To identify this, follow these steps:
- Open the booking in your system.
- Navigate to the specific service tab you want to review (e.g., flight, hotel, transfer, etc.).
- Look for the provider name associated with that service.
If the provider name includes “TravelC” or “Travelsoft”, this means the service has been consolidated by Travelsoft Services.
Both names — TravelC and Travelsoft — refer to the same consolidator, so seeing either one confirms that Travelsoft Services is handling the service.
This identification is key to understanding the nature of the booking and how it is managed on the back end. If the provider name does not include either of those terms, then the service is likely being provided by one of your own suppliers.
In our system, not all services are consolidated by TravelC (Travelsoft). To determine if a service is non-consolidated, you’ll need to check the service details within the booking.
Follow these steps:
- Access the booking in your system.
- Open the tab corresponding to the specific service (e.g., hotel, flight, activity).
- Look at the provider name listed for that service.
If the provider name does not include the word “TravelC” or “Travelsoft”, this means the service is not consolidated by Travel Compositor.
Instead, the service is likely being provided directly by an external third-party supplier, and the availability, rules, and conditions are managed by that provider independently.
Reminder: The presence of “TravelC” or “Travelsoft” in the provider name indicates consolidation by Travel Compositor. The absence of those names means the service is non-consolidated.
Understanding whether a service is consolidated or not is important for internal handling, support procedures, and knowing where the source data is coming from.
