Cruise Fare Types

1. What fare types does MSC Cruises offer?

MSC offers different experiences and fare types depending on the level of service, cabin location, and included benefits.

Available Experiences

Bella (Economy)
Basic option with interior, ocean-view, or balcony cabins, offering fewer benefits and less flexibility.

Fantastica (Intermediate)
Better cabin location, more flexible dining times, and more change options. Allows access to beverage packages.

Aurea (Premium)
Includes benefits such as greater flexibility, spa access, better cabin location, and priority embarkation and disembarkation.

Yacht Club (Luxury)
Private area with exclusive services, butler service, and dedicated premium spaces.

MSC Fare Types

  • Basic Fare: Cruise in full board plus port taxes.
  • All Inclusive Fare: Cruise plus the Easy beverage package.
  • Promo or Best Price Fare: Dynamic fares that may include additional services depending on the promotion.

2. What fare types does Royal Caribbean offer?

All bookings are initially generated on option (not confirmed until payment).

Royal Caribbean Fare Types

Basic or Standard Fare
Includes full-board cruise and port taxes. Does not include extras such as drinks, Wi-Fi, or additional packages.

Promo or Best Rate Fare
The best available fare depending on dates and availability. May include gratuities or other extras depending on the promotion.

Each reservation includes a “More Information” section detailing exactly what is included.


3. What fare types does Norwegian Cruise Line (NCL) offer?

All reservations are created on option before payment.

NCL Fare Types

Just Cruise (Basic Fare)
Includes cruise and port taxes. It is the most economical option.

Prepaid Gratuities Fare
Includes cruise, port taxes, and prepaid gratuities.

More at Sea Fare
Includes cruise, port taxes, internet package, beverage package, and excursion discount. Gratuities are not included.


4. What fare types does Celebrity Cruises offer?

Celebrity mainly works with one primary fare:

Best Price
This is the lowest available fare. Includes full-board cruise and port taxes. Depending on the active promotion, it may also include gratuities.


5. What fare types does Costa Cruises offer?

Once payment is completed, all Costa reservations become fully confirmed.

Main Fare Types

Basic Fare / My Cruise
Includes cruise and port taxes.

All Inclusive / My Drinks Fare
May include cruise, port taxes, gratuities, and beverage packages.

Fares with Excursions Included
Some fares include excursion packages (for example, up to 3 excursions with the Explore fare).
